Bright Spots

There's a lot going on in the world right now—too much uncertainty and too few bright spots. So I decided to do something special for my Pindi House community. As you've probably seen on social media, I'm gifting my customers a new pair of Pindi House Gold Plated Cross Earrings. It's just my small way to try to be a much-needed bright spot during these times. You can get yours here if you haven't already. 

So why this specific pair of earrings? First, the gold crosses hold an especially important meaning during this Easter season. To me, they symbolize unconditional love—something we could all lean on a little bit. 

Second, they are one of my favorite pieces from our collections because they are so versatile. They are simple enough to pair with workout clothes while you run errands, and also polished enough to accessorize your most elevated looks. Beloved by young ladies and older women alike, they strike that delicate balance between trendy and classic. 

All of that is to say, I wanted to give away one of our accessories that I know everyone can enjoy. I wanted to spread as much brightness as I could.

So how are you trying to find some bits of hopes of happiness these days? Maybe some of you are cooking or creating more, like me. (My husband Erik and I have nearly perfected making specialty pizzas on the Big Green Egg, and I've dug into the scrap fabrics I have on hand to sew masks.) Some of you might be Netflix binging or finally making a dent in the stack of books on your bedside table. 

Whatever we're all doing these days, we all have at least one thing in common. We're social distancing, quarantining, sheltering in place, self-isolating, working from home, going insane. Okay maybe that last one doesn't always apply, but for me there are definitely some moments that I feel like I could be losing my mind. 

Thankfully, I've had Pindi House to help me keep my wits about me, to help me feel grounded. I've actually felt more creative than ever over the past few weeks. I've been able to dive into some new designs, finding inspiration from within my own home. Flipping through old fashion and architecture magazines, wandering down memory lane while I organize my closet, and tinkering with my decor throughout my house. Working from home isn't exactly new to me, but I am now seeing it all through a new perspective. 

Aside from Pindi House Jewelry designs, I'm also making strides on some new things for the business! I won't say too much now, but keep your eyes peeled for some exciting updates. 

So even though we are weathering something totally new and unprecedented right now, and even though we don't know exactly when we'll reach the light at the end of the tunnel, I hope that Pindi House can be a little glimmer of light for you in the meantime. I'm thinking about all of you, and anxiously awaiting when we can all get together again. Rest assured that we will be hosting trunk shows at stores and sip'n'shop parties at homes as soon as we can.
